Dr. Ram Kushwaha brings over 10 years of clinical experience in general, restorative, endodontic, and prosthodontic dentistry to our practice in Louisa, Virginia. He believes in taking a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care, treating each individual with compassion, respect, and honesty. By creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment, Dr. Kushwaha listens attentively to every patient's concerns, explains diagnoses and procedures in clear language, and ensures patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident every step of the way.
Education and Experience
Dr. Kushwaha earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with High Honors at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Committed to evidence-based techniques, he regularly pursues continuing education to incorporate the latest advancements into patient care—including Invisalign clear aligners, crowns, bridges, and root canal therapy. He maintains active memberships with professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He is also fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi.
In the Community
Dedicated to serving others beyond the clinic, Dr. Kushwaha actively volunteers his time to support local organizations and community causes. His outreach work includes participating with Remote Area Medical (RAM), the Sri Swaminarayan Hindu Center, and Henrico County Public Schools.
Outside the Office
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Kushwaha cherishes spending quality time with his family and exploring new places. Coming from a farming background, he brings that same care and enthusiasm to his home life, enjoying hobbies like gardening, raising vegetables and plants, and playing ping-pong.
